We came back for our second private tour with Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel because of how much we enjoyed the first one! Many thanks to our planner Maki-san, who meticulously and efficiently helped us to plan the trip and made some great recommendations for food and activities!  As Valentine’s Day was during our trip, Maki-san also helped to arrange for a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to the hotel room and upgraded our hotel dinner to a Kaiseki meal which made it feel all the more special.

This was also our first proper winter experience, and we had a great time with the local guides and doing winter activities.  For example, we had lots of fun snowshoeing through the forest at Kuromatsunai, and loved the quiet and serene atmosphere of the forest in winter. The trek also included sliding down a snowy slope followed by tea and chocolates, and the guide was very knowledgeable and shared many details about the forest’s flora and fauna with us.

Overall, traveling with Hokkaido Treasure Island made us feel like VIPs, as everything was taken care of and we could enjoy a relaxing and fun trip all the way from the planning phase to actually being there. Would recommend for a memorable experience!
