It was a pleasure negotiating with Miwa from hokkaido treasure, who promptly contacted us upon enquiry and helped us to tailor a private tour that was suitable for our family. We travelled in a group of 8 (4 adults 4 children), with ages ranging from 2 years to 68 years . Despite the wide age gap, Miwa managed to find activities to accommodate the interests and physical abilities of each person. We were assigned a fantastic driver, who patiently took us in a very comfortable minibus to all the planned points of interests over our 8 day tour. Having all the transport and accommodation sorted in advance by the tour agency took a great stress off our minds and allowed us to enjoy beautiful Hokkaido. There were many first times for some of us, including snow shoe-ing through a beautiful nature reserve, snowmobiling, a visit to the sake brewery, ice cream making, family curling, onsen and a visit to the local zoo featuring animals unique to Hokkaido. Everyone had a marvellous time, and we will definitely book our next tour with this company again should we visit Hokkaido in the future!
