We were traveling with three generations of family together and had a wonderful time. The meals were spectacular, the onsen were beautiful and relaxing, and the inns where we stayed were lovely. Some of our party had mobility challenges, and everything was managed so that we all could participate. We had a custom itinerary that included the opportunity to meet and learn about traditional Ainu and Japanese culture from craftspeople, chefs, a tea master, and local guides.
