We enjoyed our trip to western Hokkaido after a fantastic trip to eastern Hokkaido in February. Our first guide, Karzu San, was great. Most of the hotels were also great, particularly in Niseko and at Lake Toya. We really enjoyed attending the Fighters baseball game with Miwa San. Unfortunately, we were not the best match for our full time guide. She was a bit too proscriptive for us. Our driver was great – very safe.
