We had a wonderful trip to the Shakotan Peninsula with Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel. Miwa made the planning stage easy and enjoyable. She did a great job listening to our desires and needs and communicated in a very timely manner.  The accommodations she booked and the activities she planned fit us to a “T”. Both the guide and driver she hired were impeccable in their professionalism and were a joy to travel with. The best part of the tour was the reason why we arranged for a private tour – getting to know people from the area (Masa san, Yama san, Miwa san, and our hiking guide on the Shakotan peninsula) and experiencing sites through their eyes. It goes beyond what you get in guide books or on large group tours.
