My family and I had a great time in Hokkaido, thank you so much for arranging our travel itinerary. It was definitely a unique experience and all of us have come home with unforgettable memories.
The kids especially enjoyed the lunch with the fishermen’s wives, the horse farm and the vegetable foraging. It was a bit sad that we did not experience the full bloom of the cherry blossoms and an outdoor picnic lunch, but being able to play in the snow made up for it. It was the first time for most of the kids to see and play with snow 🙂
The adults enjoyed the shopping experiences at Otaru, Sapporo City, the Red Brick warehouse and Mitsui outlet. Most would have liked more time in Otaru 🙂 We also enjoyed the short trip to the local supermarket.
The restaurant recommendations were also very good. We especially enjoyed the teppanyaki dinner, and the restaurant where we had shabu shabu was beautiful. My dad also loved the tempura lunch that Okada-san recommended in Otaru. The only thing that my parents had a hard time with was the seating in some restaurants. They found it difficult to get up from the floor.
Villa Concordia was a wonderful hotel. We really appreciated the spacious rooms and we especially enjoyed the breakfast. Lagent Sapporo was also a good hotel, space was a bit tight,, but the location was definitely great. It was so convenient and close to the center of the city.
I would also like to extend our special thanks and appreciation for Okada-san. She went above and beyond her duty to guide us in our trip. She anticipated our needs very well, and was always ready to make the trip as smooth and convenient for us as possible. She never left us until she made sure that everything was settled. She was also very patient with all of us, from the youngest to the eldest, and we really appreciate it.
Special thanks also to Ita-san, our driver. He was very skillful and provided a very smooth and comfortable ride for all of us. He was also very responsive to our needs and accommodated our requests well.
