Easy to contact a specialist to discuss our trip. Description on the website is accurate, i.e., no unrealistic expectations. Discussion with our specialist Mari Taniguchi was great. We let her know our goals, likes/dislikes, desired destinations, activity levels, budget, food preferences, and length, and she iterated many times to make sure they were correct. She also told us when something may not happen due to climate/weather, and in one case during the trip, when nature has other plans, she offered an alternatives and got us a refund from the venue (unexpected). She hired us the best English speaking driver (not just from our POV, but according to other guides) who took us through a 13-day west to east trip, and eating at the best local places (that was not part of the plan). In other cases, there were local guides that gave us the guided tour of local environments. We would definitely do it again with HTIT.
