The services provided by Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel was a class act.  From the time of our inquiry through our actual tour, everyone was very kind and service oriented.  Miwa-San coordinated our itinerary in less than 2 and a half months ensuring every detail was taken care of.  She really did a great job of working with our preferences and within our provided budget.  During our planning, we couldn’t have imagined the adventure we were about to embark on.

Everyone was so hospitable throughout the whole experience.  We were greeted at the airport by Miwa, our driver and our guide.  We had a very roomy van and our driver, Yama-San, was an excellent driver and ensured that we got to each destination safely.  He knew all the areas that were convenient for drop-offs and pick ups and also where all the clean restrooms were.  Our guide, Aki-San, took such good care of us.  She always made sure that we were comfortable and equipped for every activity.  Both our driver and our guide treated us like family the whole time.  They were very flexible to our needs and were always ready to provide recommendations for dining, omiyage, etc.  We did not have to worry about a thing during our trip and could truly enjoy our vacation.

The accommodations were great.  Each area had a different experience to offer.  The activities were very interactive and helped us to learn more about Hokkaido and the community.  This added a very personal touch to our trip and made it very memorable.   Having the opportunity to interact and connect with the people made our trip extra special.  Our activities included the Ainu Museum, sushi/ice cream/potato chip making, fruit picking, a Beech Forest hike, the fish auction, canoe paddling, etc.  We had a wonderful time and would definitely consider another tour with HTIT.
