A dream Hokkaido trip, 4 years in the making!
From : United States 8 Family member, 2024. 10

Our trip was four years in the making since it was canceled during the pandemic in 2020. When our trip was reestablished, the itinerary was revised and additional days were added. We could not ask for better weather and tour guide for our adventure. We loved all of the accommodations, Activities, restaurants, and scenery in Hokkaido. We already want to plan another trip with Hokkaido Treasures during the winter time and experience the wonder and beauty..
The best parts of our private tour are too numerous to mention, however, some of the moments that really stand out for me were the soba making, washi paper making, Chinese potato digging and Japanese cooking workshops along with our trekking in the eastern part of Hokkaido near Alan and Shiretoko. I would be remiss in not mentioning how wonderful it was to stay at the Noboribetsu Takinoya, Sanyoan, and La Vista Akangawa, all with beautiful scenery and private onsens. And lastly, our meals were amazing every day.
My hat is off to Kentaro Miyamori for putting together such a wonderful private tour for our group. Our group of 10 really enjoyed each and every activity, restaurant and time that we got to spend with each other as well as with our tour guide and bus driver. The days went by so quickly which reflected how much we were enjoying our tour in Hokkaido. I cannot say enough good things about the local guides as well, such as Hiroko in Toyoura, who took us to the fish auction and Salmon Farm and barbecuing scallops and all kinds of meat in the rain so wonderful.
