We had an amazing winter trip to Hokkaido

We had an amazing winter trip to Hokkaido. The itinerary was well planned by Haruka and catered well to our family of four. We loved the snow activities, skiing, sushi making, gelato making etc. This is our third trip with HTIT. Special thanks to our wonderful and attentive driver Shu-san and Haruka whom the children adore for their hospitality. We already miss Hokkaido.

Our favourite part of the private tour was definitely experiencing snow for the first time. The children had loads of fun during their private ski class, snow ball fights and BBQ on snow. Of course, the company of our our knowledgeable driver Shu-san made these experiences extra special.

About this trip

It was their third time travelling with us but first time for the girls to enjoy snow!
Joy-san and myself planned this trip right after their previous trip in June 2023, and all we aimed was to have great experience with snow even though mid December is a little too early for some of the snow activities. I am so glad that they were able to have lots of snow while they are here in Hokkaido!

  • They enjoyed BBQ while playing in the snow with a local guide in Niseko area.
    It was fun day with lots of powdery snow – sledding, building snowmen, and having snowball fights while roasting marshmallows over a bonfire.

  • Sushi making experience which I was lucky enough to join the family was also so much fun! We headed to the local Sushi restaurant and they taught us how to make Sushi.
