Thank you, Kiyoka san of Hokkaido Treasure Island, for organizing the best family holiday we experienced! From the first contact via email, through WhatsApp texts and calls, through the moment we landed in Hokkaido (she was there to meet us), through our holiday, through the journey home. Kiyoka san was available to answer any queries, explain everything. Our brief to her was Snow, Nature, Japanese food and culture. She did not disappoint. We went to places which we did not think of if we had done it ourselves, experienced activities with the locals, met such lovely people. It would not have been possible if we had tried to do it on our own. Our driver Kita san was such a gentleman and such a safe driver in spite of the blustery winter winds and snow.

We also had some diet restrictions in our family. This was well taken care of, so that everyone could enjoy the Japanese local cuisines whether there were allergies or not. Because Kiyoka san made sure that those of us with allergies had equally delicious foods to enjoy, while those of us without allergies could indulge happily.

We have experienced a small part of Hokkaido in winter. There is so much more to explore. And we would also like to experience it in spring, summer and autumn through Kiyoka san’s wonderful tour organization. If only they also did tours for the whole of Japan!

If you’re thinking about whether you should engage Hokkaido Treasure Island for your holiday, don’t think. Just do it! We have never before experienced such a seamless organization of a holiday. And it was delivered with such sincereness and whole heartedness, it’s hard to believe. Budget wise, I don’t feel that they were too expensive. You get what you pay for. And they deliver way beyond expectations.
