I have wanted to bring my mother to Hokkaido after I visited back in July 2016 with my friends, when I truly enjoyed myself. As my mother is 88 years old, she can’t travel without a good proper plan.
I’m glad to have found Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel and Megumi san helped me to arrange for a good trip, that was so unforgettable for my mother, sister and I.
We saw so many beautiful sights of autumn leaves and the unique yellow ginko leaves, had such fun activities like pounding mochi for ourselves to eat instantly, cutting out the salmon roe to eat in our ikura don and making our very own soft ice cream, which was delicious!
There were so many other things that were so interesting, like watching fireworks shooting off on Lake Toya, right from our hotel room, tea tasting at a tea shop, sake brewery tour, glass blowing and going up 3 mountains at 3 different cities!
Thank you so much Megumi san for working out the tour for us and Tatsuya san for driving us around to all the places safely while giving lots of introductions and information of those places!
I can’t wait to plan another trip with Megumi san for me to visit Hokkaido in the winter season!
