Growing up in Osaka since Mari was born there. In her last 20’s she realized that her world is so small and tiny. Therefore, she decided to move to Toronto, Canada, for working holiday. She said it was a wonderful experience and it broaden my horizons. However, she felt it’s not enough.
Back to Osaka and spent three years under the corona pandemic, she traveled in Japan. This experience made her realize that her country has a lot of beautiful things, such as scenery, kind people and tasty food. Hokkaido is the biggest islands in Japan where is known by delicious food and lovely vast land, and she decided to another move there to enhance her world.
If I explain my specialty, I would say it’s Food.’ Mari said. She loves to cook since she was a child and she also love to see the people’s face when they eat tasty food. And as you can image, she loves to eat too. While she was in Toronto, she worked in vegan restaurant as a line cook, She learned people has a different taste and different backgrounds. ‘Fortunately, I do not have any restrict for food but some people does. It’s so sad if they can’t enjoy their travel because of anxiety about the food during they travel in Japan.’ She explained what is in her mind.

●WHY I LOVE WORKING IN TRAVEL:
She believes that travel is one of the most important essences in her life. Visiting the unknown place and meeting local people always gives her energy and creativity. And she would like to back the kindness which she received when she traveled around to the people who visits in Japan.

What a large Hokkaido! This is her impression when she first visited in Hokkaido.
This LARGE has two meaning for her. One is literally about the area. Hokkaido has 83,424 k㎡ only itself . This means they can’t visit all of the Hokkaido in one time. They can enjoy different experiences every single trip.
Second is local people has a large heart. When she meets locals and tell them she moved to here, Hokkaido, everyone welcome her and chare the reason why they love Hokkaido. Every people love their motherland because Hokkaido is full of joy, tasty seasonal food and warm hearted people. She’s just moved to here, so she is so excited to experience everything what she will meet.
