Maki

Travel Consultant

Maki grew up in Sapporo, Hokkaido. When she was in elementary school, she watching her local cram school teacher communicated with guests from overseas. This made her interest in learning English. Her yearning for global experiences was further ignited during a high school exchange program in the United States, encouraging her to take a year-long sabbatical from university. Consequently, she worked at Disney World in Florida to prepare for future life overseas. However, her experience working at a traditional Japanese restaurant there led to a newfound appreciation for Japan. After graduating from university in Sapporo, she decided to stay in Hokkaido and worked in sales for several companies before joining Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel inc, to share her beloved places.
